Justice Wells Obituary, MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Justice Faith Wells, 19, of Mooresville, North Carolina, has died following injuries sustained in a shooting incident on Interstate 77 on Sunday, July 26. Her passing has left family members and loved ones mourning the loss of a young woman whose life was tragically cut short.
Justice was traveling along Interstate 77 near Exit 35 in Mooresville when the incident occurred. According to information provided, she was driving a black Kia with her 23-year-old on-again, off-again boyfriend, J’Kobe Tre’Shon Ramseur, in the passenger seat when a struggle inside the vehicle led to gunfire.
Investigators later determined that the vehicle had multiple bullet holes, including damage through the roof, as authorities worked to understand the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Both Justice and Ramseur suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Justice remained hospitalized as her family held onto hope for her recovery. Despite efforts to save her, she later died from the injuries she sustained. Authorities upgraded the initial attempted murder charge against Ramseur to first-degree murder following Justice’s death.
